The experience begins before sunrise. You are collected from your hotel in the early hours and transferred to the launch area. While you watch the balloon being prepared and inflated, you wait for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation teams to complete their weather and safety checks. During this time a breakfast box is served so you can start the morning with energy. Once flight clearance is given, your pilot delivers a short briefing and the balloon begins its gentle ascent.

The flight lasts approximately 1 hour. Throughout this time Cappadocia's valleys, fairy chimneys and unique natural formations stretch out beneath you. As the colours of sunrise paint the sky, the scenery changes with every passing minute. Dozens of other balloons rise alongside you, creating one of the most photographed spectacles on earth.

After landing, a champagne toast and flight certificate ceremony mark the occasion. Transfer vehicles return you to your hotel. The balloon tour operates every day throughout the year, weather permitting. The maximum balloon capacity is 20 passengers and flight insurance is provided for all guests.

Because the route of a balloon is determined by the wind, hot air balloons do not land where they depart.

Balloon tours start in the early hours of the morning and balloons can rise up to 1400 metres from the ground, so you should choose comfortable clothes and shoes that will keep you warm.

Hot air balloons are designed without seats.

The General Directorate of Civil Aviation decides whether balloons can fly that day by looking at the wind speed.

All guests are insured from the moment they are taken from the hotel until they return to their hotels at the end of the tour.

Unfortunately, children under 6 years are not allowed to participate in balloon tours. Children at the age of 7 and older also pay full fees as balloons have a limited capacity.

We recommend that you make your payments in cash in Turkish Lira, dollar, euro, etc. currencies. Because all balloon companies charge an additional fee for card payments.

If the balloon flight is cancelled, the amount you pay will be refunded with the currency you pay and without any deductions.
